Westerly Winds and Terai Fog: Nepal Weather Update

Kathmandu: According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, there is currently a partial influence of westerly winds in Nepal. Due to this, there is general cloud cover in the Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, along with partial cloud cover in the hilly areas. In the remaining Himalayan and hilly regions, the weather is mostly clear.

According to the division, there will be fog or mist in some parts of the Terai region this afternoon. Partial cloud cover is expected in the high hills and Himalayan regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces, while the weather will remain mostly clear in the rest of the country.
