‘Natra Bhane Jindagi Byartha Cha’ Song from ‘Koshodhungaa’ Wins Hearts of Audiences.

Kathmandu — The Teej special song ‘Natra Bhane Jindagi Byartha Cha’ from the Nepali film Koshodhungaa has gained massive popularity soon after its release. The upbeat dance number has already crossed 1 million views on YouTube, while more than 7 million people have watched it on Facebook, according to director Saroj Paudel.

The song has gone viral especially on TikTok, with over 20,000 videos already created by users. “We presented a classy and culturally rich song to the audience, and it has received the kind of love we hoped for,” said Paudel. “Thousands of people are making videos with the song daily.”

Written by Netra Aryal, the song’s hook line and music are composed by Khem Century. Vocals are by Khem Century, Samikshya Adhikari, and Dipika Bayambu Magar. The song explores the contrast between married and unmarried women, reflecting both the joys of marriage and the curiosity of those yet to experience it.

In the music video, actors Surakshya Pant and Niti Shah portray the perspective of unmarried women, while actress Richa Sharma expresses the emotions of a married woman.

To boost engagement, the film team has also announced a TikTok contest based on the song. Participants must use the hashtag #NatraBhaneJindagiByarthaCha and submit their videos by August 20. The best performance will win NPR 30,000, the most creative video will receive NPR 20,000, and the most liked video will be awarded NPR 10,000.
