‘Myagdi Rumale’ Song Released from Movie ‘Roll No. 1’

Kathmandu. The song ‘Myagdi Rumale’ from the movie ‘Roll No. 1’ has been released. The production team released the folk-style song of the film on Friday.

The song features the voices of Prashant Shiwakoti and Shanthishree Pariyar. The lyrics were written by Sushma Sigdel, and the music was composed by Prashant Shiwakoti himself.

Suraj Tamang, Bikash Limbu, Dibesh Rai, Deepa Suhang, Apsu Yogi, and Manma B Rai assisted Prashant and Shanthishree in the vocals.

The song features a marriage proposal made to a loved one and the response given by the young woman. It includes the young man’s proposal to spend their lives together and the young woman's request not to rush.

In the song, one can hear the young man's efforts to persuade the woman and her inquiries about his family situation. The song concludes with the woman’s plea not to rush into a love worth millions. Prepared in a question-and-answer style, the song is pleasant to listen to.

The video stars Binod Neupane and Juna Bishwakarma, among others. The choreography for the music video was done by Mausam Himali.

Produced by Binod Paudel, the movie ‘Roll No. 1’ is set to be released on Jeth 15. The film tells the story of student psychology. The production side stated that the cinema covers the story of the negative impact the current educational system has on child psychology and the subsequent effect on their overall lives.

Directed by John Yonzon, the film stars Mukun Bhusal, Sushank Mainali, Renu Yogi, and Sirjana Adhikari in lead roles. The child actors in the film are Nirbhik Regmi, Rinchen Lama, Samyam Katuwal, and Sijal Shrestha.

Binod Paudel and Janvi Paudel are the producers, while Chhatramaya Giri and Ramesh Chaulagain are the co-producers.

The film was written by Mahesh Dawadi. Filmed in various scenic and rural areas of the Himalayan district of Myagdi, the DOP of the movie is Shibaram Shrestha.

The film features music by Prashant Shiwakoti, BGM by Rohit Shakya, Firod Khadka as Chief AD, Kala Sangroula as Production Designer, and Manoj Joshi as Production Head. The editor of the film is Madan Ghimire.

According to producer Paudel, the film will be released simultaneously in Nepal and abroad. Rich Entertainment and JM Cinema have taken the responsibility for the film's distribution.
