Mustang Security Agencies Unaware of Prime Minister's Visit

Kathmandu. It has been revealed that the District Administration Office and the District Police Office in Mustang have not received any official information regarding the visit of Prime Minister Balendra Shah (Balen).

Although the Prime Minister's itinerary includes traveling to Mustang via Pokhara by road, both the Police Chief and the Chief District Officer stated that as of 11:00 AM on Friday, no official information had been communicated to them.

Ek Narayan Bhandari, the Assistant Chief District Officer of Mustang, stated that they had only learned about the Prime Minister's visit to Mustang through media reports, but no official notice had reached the office.

Similarly, the District Police Office, Mustang, also stated that they have not received official confirmation regarding the visit, though they became aware of it through the media. However, police reported that they are making internal preparations regarding security arrangements.

It has been reported that Prime Minister Balen intends to visit Muktinath during this trip, though there is no official confirmation. Meanwhile, secretariat members at the Prime Minister's Office are hesitant to share details about his daily schedule and are reportedly not answering phone calls.
