Pratichhya Thapa Departs for Myanmar to Represent Nepal in ‘Mrs. Grand International 2026’

Kathmandu — Mrs. Grand International Nepal 2026, Pratichhya Thapa, departed for Myanmar on Wednesday to represent Nepal at the prestigious international beauty pageant "Mrs. Grand International 2026." She flew out from Tribhuvan International Airport to participate in the event, which is scheduled for Thursday.

Speaking briefly to journalists before her departure, Pratichhya shared her commitment to effectively presenting Nepal's culture, traditions, originality, beauty, confidence, and message of women's empowerment on the international stage alongside married women from around the world. Oshima Banu, National Director of Mrs. Grand International Nepal, also traveled to Myanmar with her.

According to the organizers, Pratichhya underwent extensive preparation over a long period, completing training in runway presentation, personality development, public speaking, fitness, styling, photoshoots, and various other international-level modules. The organizers expressed full confidence that she is well-prepared to represent Nepal with conviction.

Pratichhya stated that she views herself not just as a contestant, but as a representative of the courage, capability, confidence, and determination of Nepali women. She plans to proudly showcase Nepal’s national flag, art, culture, traditions, and the talent of Nepali women to the global community throughout the competition.

Her participation is expected to strengthen Nepal’s presence in international pageantry while sending a strong message that confidence, hard work, dedication, and continuous effort—rather than age—are the true foundations of success.
