Monsoon to Fully Withdraw from Nepal from Wednesday, Easing Rice Harvesting

Kathmandu – The monsoon system in Nepal is set to fully withdraw from Wednesday. Climate and disaster expert Dr. Dharma Raj Upreti stated that from the coming Wednesday, the monsoon will leave the country.

He added, “With the monsoon gone, there will be no obstacles in harvesting rice.” With the rains stopping, farmers will be able to start harvesting and storing rice from Wednesday itself.

It is expected to speed up the rice harvesting process across the country, and farmers have been advised to prepare for post-monsoon rice collection.
