Mithila Sharma Signed for Neeta Dhungana’s Directorial Debut ‘Sukha Dukha’

Kathmandu – Veteran actress Mithila Sharma has officially joined the cast of Sukh Dukh, the debut directorial venture of actress-turned-producer Neeta Dhungana Adhikari. The agreement was finalized on Sunday through a formal contract between Sharma and the production team.

Expressing her excitement, Neeta shared, “We are thrilled to have Mithila Sharma on board for Sukh Dukh. Without her, this film would have felt incomplete. Her presence brings the project closer to becoming a complete cinematic journey.”

Earlier, renowned Indian cinematographers Kabir Lal and Shahid Lal were signed on for the film. However, the rest of the lead cast has not yet been revealed. Dhungana stated that the names of the other principal actors will be announced in the coming weeks.

The film, produced under the banner of Neeta Films, is scheduled for release during the upcoming Dashain festival on the day of Phulpati. Shankar Pandey has taken on the role of production manager.

The distribution rights have also been confirmed — FD Company will handle distribution outside the Kathmandu Valley, while Rich Entertainment will manage the film’s release within the Valley.

Sukh Dukh marks a significant milestone in Neeta Dhungana’s film career as she transitions into directing and producing, with high expectations surrounding the project due to the involvement of seasoned professionals like Sharma.
