Sanya Adhikari Crowned Miss Universe Nepal 2025

Kathmandu – The title of the globally renowned “Miss Universe Nepal 2025,” the Nepal franchise of Miss Universe, has been won by Sanya Adhikari. The grand finale was held on Wednesday evening at the Royal Tulip Hotel in Lalitpur, where Sanya was declared the winner.

Alongside her, Arohi Basnet was named first runner-up, Sonalisha Dhungana second runner-up, Alina Yari third runner-up, and Jyoti Thapa fourth runner-up. A total of 14 contestants competed in the finale.

The winner, Sanya, received NPR 200,000 in cash along with gifts worth thousands. She will represent Nepal at the 74th Miss Universe competition, scheduled to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, on November 21. In an interaction with the media, Sanya spoke about the recent impact of the Zen z protests on Nepal’s tourism sector.

She said she aims to send a message to foreign tourists that Nepal is now peaceful. She also mentioned that while representing Nepal at Miss Universe, she will promote Nepal’s tourism sector along with various other aspects.

Sangita Puri, the national director of Miss Universe Nepal 2025, congratulated all the winners and expressed confidence that they will continue to bring recognition to the country in the future. Global Glamour Venture has been organizing the Miss Universe competition in Nepal for several years.
