Prakash Saput Prepares 'Mai Ramri Chhu Ta Ni' for 'Lalibazaar'

A small snippet of the third song 'Mai Ramri Chhu Ta Ni' from the movie 'Lalibazaar', which is scheduled to be released on the upcoming 18th of Baisakh, has been made public. In the song released through the YouTube channel of the production company Shatkon Arts, Deepika Bayambu Magar has provided the vocals, while the chorus vocals include Ranjita Bishwokarma, Bindu BC, Sunita Sunar, Manoj BK, and Govinda Aneka. The song features lyrics and music by Prakash Saput.

The released song features the film's lead characters Swastima Khadka, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Mukunda Shrestha, Janaki Kadayat, and others. The song was choreographed by Pradip Lama. The lyrics describe female beauty, with Swastima at the center of the song. The track has already started being used in TikTok, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

The production team has stated that the full version of the song can be seen in theaters along with the film starting from Baisakh 18. Similarly, the trailer of the Nepali film 'Lalibazaar', released on Baisakh 4, has been well-received by the audience. Social media users and celebrities alike have been praising the trailer and the subject matter. Since the release of the trailer, 'Lalibazaar', produced by Shatkon Arts, has successfully entered the YouTube trending charts.

Currently, the trailer is at number 2 in the movie charts. Positive feedback has been received for the performances of Swastima, Rabindra Singh Baniya, child artist Samaira Thapa, and debutants Prashansa Subedi and Bishal Devkota seen in the trailer. The film is based on a story of a mother and daughter, and the trailer depicts a mal-practice like 'Nathiya' prevalent in the Badi community.

The trailer of 'Lalibazaar' shows the struggle a mother undergoes for the protection of her daughter Rakshya. Swastima plays the role of the mother in the film. Shatkon Arts, which includes producer Max Dipesh Khatri, actor Rabindra Singh Baniya, and director Pradip Bhattarai, has already produced successful films like 'Jatra', 'Jatrai Jatra', 'Mahapurush', and 'Mahajatra'. However, for the upcoming film 'Lalibazaar', director Pradip Bhattarai has handed over the directing responsibility to Yam Thapa.

Director Thapa has previously directed subject-oriented films like 'Rajja Rani', 'Hurray', and 'Meri Mamu', and has worked on the scripts of films including 'Kohinoor', 'Anjila', and 'Paran'. The collaboration between director Thapa and Shatkon Arts occurred during story discussions.

After the film's script was nearly finalized, director Bhattarai proposed naming the film 'Lalibazaar' during a filming location visit, to which everyone agreed. Director Thapa stated that the film is prepared as a story of a mother and daughter.

The audience has liked the first song 'Mayalai Ke Diun Ma Baina' and the second song 'Mitho Sansar' released from the film. Both songs have become popular on YouTube, TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. The release date for 'Lalibazaar' is set for Baisakh 18, 2083 BS. Filmed in Rajapur, Bardiya, the movie stars Swastima Khadka, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Samaira Thapa, Mukunda Kumar Shrestha, Abhay Baral, Prem Pandey, Pradip Dhakal, Asha Paudel, Govinda Sunar, Abha Aryal, Tara Sharma, Ramesh Badi, Saraswati Adhikari, Janaki Kathayat, Nischal Panthi, Birbal Chaudhary, and others.

Bishal Devkota and Prashansa Subedi are making their debut through this film. Bishal is an artist working as an actor and director in theater, while Prashansa is popular as a Gen-Z actress. The script and dialogues of 'Lalibazaar', directed and written by Yam Thapa, were jointly prepared by Thapa and director Pradip Bhattarai. The film's trailer was released through Shatkon Arts' YouTube channel.

Pradip Bhattarai is the executive producer of the film, while Max Dipesh Khatri and Rabindra Singh Baniya are the producers. 

The film features JB Ruwali as creative director, Samrat Basnet as conflict director, Sushan Prajapati as director of photography, Mitradev Gurung as editor, Rupak Pratap Adhikari as production head, Renish Phago as colorist, Samir Shrestha and Satyam Rana as VFX artists, Rohit Shakya and Shailesh Shrestha for background music and mixing, Umesh Chaudhary as art director, Royal Bhimsen (Trident) as publicity designer, CP Jaisi as media coordinator, Janaki Kadayat as costume designer and stylist, Kabya Thapa for makeup, and music by Prakash Saput, Khem Century, and Jayan J Wyba.
