Mahesh Basnet Criticizes Leaders for Blocking Injured Youth at Singha Durbar

Kathmandu – Youths injured during the Gen-Zi movement tried to present their demands at Singha Durbar but were forced to stage a sit-in at the gate after being denied entry.
UML leader Mahesh Basnet criticized political leaders, including those who have become Prime Minister and Ministers, for stopping the youths outside, claiming the act served personal or foreign interests.
The incident underscores growing tensions between leadership decisions and the grievances of movement participants.
