Madan Krishna Shrestha Joins Neeta Dhungana’s Directorial Debut ‘Sukha Dukha’, Set for Dashain Release

Kathmandu — Veteran actor Madan Krishna Shrestha has officially joined the cast of ‘Sukha Dukha’, the debut directorial venture of actress and producer Neeta Dhungana Adhikari. The production team confirmed on Friday that Shrestha will play a significant role in the film.
Shrestha shared that he was deeply moved by the story and agreed to be part of the project after hearing the script. Director Neeta expressed her excitement, saying, “He became emotional while listening to the script. After that, he seemed very enthusiastic about acting in the film.”
Earlier, on Sunday, veteran actress Mithila Sharma was also signed for a leading role. However, the names of other main cast members have not been disclosed yet.
Renowned Indian cinematographers Kabir Lal and Shahid Lal have already been brought on board for the project. Film production management is being handled by Shankar Pandey.
Produced under the banner of Neeta Films, ‘Sukha Dukha’ is set to release during next year’s Dashain festival, specifically on the day of Phulpati. Distribution rights within the Kathmandu Valley have been acquired by Rich Entertainment, while FD Company will handle distribution outside the valley.
