Light Rain and Snowfall Forecast in High Mountain Regions
Kathmandu: Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds. At present, light haze has been observed in some areas of the Terai region.
There is partial cloud cover over the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, while the weather remains mainly clear in the rest of the country.
This afternoon, fog and mist are likely to occur in some parts of the Terai during the morning hours. The hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces will generally remain partly cloudy.
Partial cloud cover is also expected in Lumbini Province and the Terai region of Sudurpaschim Province, as well as in the remaining hilly and mountainous areas. The rest of the country will experience mainly clear weather. There is a possibility of light rain or snowfall at one or two places in the high hilly and mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces.
Similarly, tonight, light haze is likely in a few places in the Terai region. Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces are expected to remain generally cloudy. The remaining high hilly and mountainous areas will experience partial cloud cover, while the rest of the country will have mainly clear weather.
There is a chance of light rain or snowfall in a few places in the mountainous regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim Provinces, and light rain at one or two places in the hilly regions.
