Kulman Ghising’s Call: “Let’s Unite for Infrastructure Reconstruction”

Kathmandu — Minister for Energy, Physical Planning, and Urban Development, as well as the initiator of the Ujyalo Nepal Campaign, Kulman Ghising, has called on all Nepalis at home and abroad to unite in the reconstruction of damaged infrastructures.
Participating in a voluntary labor campaign at the Department of Transport Management in Minbhawan on Friday, Minister Ghising announced that infrastructures destroyed during the recent Gen-Z movement will be rebuilt under the campaign slogan “We will build Nepal’s infrastructure ourselves.”
He stated that preliminary estimates show damages amounting to more than 200 billion rupees and informed that a reconstruction fund has been established to carry out the work through voluntary labor and financial contributions from Nepalis.
Minister Ghising also urged not only those living in Nepal but also Nepalis abroad to join the reconstruction campaign, stressing that it should be carried forward as a shared responsibility of nation-building.
