Jhingedau 2 Release Date Announced for Constitution Day, September 19
The release date for the movie 'Jhingedau 2', directed by Gyanendra Deuja, has been officially announced. Along with the release of a poster featuring the four lead actors on Tuesday, it was confirmed that the film will premiere nationwide on September 19, coinciding with Constitution Day.
Director Gyanendra Deuja stated that although the film was previously scheduled for a Dashain release, September 19 was chosen as a safer date after seeing the competition among producers to release their films during the festival.
The poster released on Tuesday features actresses Keki Adhikari and Aanchal Sharma alongside actors Mahesh Tripathi and Kushal Bista in their character looks. The production team expects this to generate curiosity among the audience.
Produced under the joint banner of Kapangadhi Cinema Pvt. Ltd. and Film Crew Nepal, the movie features an ensemble cast including Saroj Khanal, Aryan Sigdel, Mahesh Tripathi, Keki Adhikari, Aanchal Sharma, Kushal Bista, Basundhara Bhusal, Chaitya Devi Singh, Hiuwala Gautam, Bijay Deuja, Asha Bhusal, Abhay Raj Baral, and Ashish Purush.
The story is written by director Gyanendra Deuja himself, while the screenplay is penned by Parichhed Sen, Govinda Phuyal, and Shishir Chalise. The film features action direction by Roshan Shrestha, choreography by Ramji Lamichhane, music by Arjun Pokharel, and editing by Mitra D. Gurung. Ishwar Ghimire serves as the production manager, with Pasang T. Sherpa and Manik Pakhrin as art directors.
The movie, cinematographed by Bishnu Ghimire 'Kalpit', is produced by Sulabh Pratik Deuja and Samikshya Deuja. Currently in the dubbing stage, the film was shot in Kavre, Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Sankhu, Tanahun, Bandipur, Devghat, Dolakha, Chitlang, Palung, and Chitwan.
