Jeep Accident in Kapurkot, Salyan: Driver Passed Away, Three Injured

One person has died in a jeep accident at Chorkhola in Kapurkot Rural Municipality-3 of Salyan. A pickup jeep with registration number Ga 1 Ja 3561, traveling from Sisne Rural Municipality in Rukum East toward Dang, met with the accident at Chorkhola.

Thirty-one-year-old Bijay Bishwakarma of Amlachaur, Sisne Rural Municipality-4, Rukum East, died on the spot. According to the Kapurkot Police Post, the deceased, Bishwakarma, was the driver of the jeep.

There were four people on board the jeep, which was carrying a patient, including the driver. Police stated that the accident occurred around 4:45 AM.

Two women and a child were injured in the accident. The injured have been identified as 22-year-old Sushmi Roka, 40-year-old Lalita KC, and 18-month-old Safalata KC, all from Naighat, Sisne Rural Municipality-2.

All three injured individuals were rescued and provided with primary treatment at the Basic Hospital of Kapurkot Rural Municipality. Police reported that they have been sent to Tulsipur, Dang, for further medical treatment.
