Salpa Bikas Bank IPO Allotment Concludes

Kathmandu. The allotment of the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of Salpa Bikas Bank Limited has been completed today. The IPO, which was issued by the bank for the general public, has been distributed.

The bank had issued 1,439,179 units of ordinary shares at a face value of 100 rupees per share from Poush 16 to 20, totaling a value of 143,917,900 rupees. 

A total of 2,302,843 investors applied for 25,934,930 units of shares in the IPO. Out of these, the bank stated that 2,265,955 applications were approved, while the remaining applications were cancelled.

Since the demand was significantly higher than the shares issued, the IPO was allotted through a lottery process. During the allotment, 143,917 investors received 10 units of shares each. 

The remaining 9 units of shares were also distributed among the same investors. In this process, 9 lucky applicants received a total of 11 units, including one additional share.
