Heartfelt Song “Mutubhitra Khil Chha Hajur” from Upcoming Film Citamol Released

The second song of the upcoming film Citamol, titled “Mutubhitra Khil Chha Hajur”, has been released. The film, which is set to release on Shrawan 23, unveiled the song on Wednesday featuring lead actors Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Shree Krishna Neupane, Januka Bishwakarma, along with music composer Babul Giri, who also appears in the video.

The song has lyrics written by Govinda Bhatt and is composed and sung by Babul Giri. With this heartfelt song, Giri debuts in a prominent role in the Nepali film industry as both a composer and singer.

A short part of the song, which was included in the previously released teaser, became a hit on social media platforms like Facebook and TikTok. Due to its popularity, the production team decided to release the full version today. The team believes this song will significantly boost the film’s hype among audiences. Previously released songs and the teaser of the film had already generated positive buzz.

According to the producer and director, Citamol seeks to symbolically reflect Nepal, the everyday lives of ordinary Nepalis, and challenge deep-rooted social evils that have existed since ancient times. They claim that the film has been created to address these issues while also winning the hearts of the audience.

Directed by Raj Bahadur Sane, the film stars Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Shree Krishna Niraula, Januka Bishwakarma, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiunwala Gautam, Sushil Pokhrel, Dinesh Regmi, R.R. Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, and child artists Karan Nepali and Aradhya Rajyalaxmi DC. Both Shree Krishna and Januka make their debut in the Nepali film industry through this film.

Produced by Tulsi Devi Films Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with Juntara Films, the film's story is written by Pradeep Bhattarai and director Sane. Presented by Simos Sunuwar, the film’s producers include Bhugol Kumar Karki and Bikash Raj Joshi, with Apsara Nepali, Ajay Malla, and Kumar KC as executive producers, and Gangaram Shrestha as co-producer.

The film features music by Babul Giri, choreography by Kaviraj Gahatraj, editing by Bande Prasad, DI color by Rajendra Moktan, sound design by Mukesh Shah, stunt direction by Dev Maharjan and Shankar Maharjan, poster design by Rakesh Dahal, and production management by Bikash Tamang and Dhanbahadur Rai. The cinematography is done by Divya Subedi.
