Golchha Group Hands Over 20 Motorcycles to Baggikhana Traffic Police Office
Kathmandu : Golchha Group has handed over 20 Bajaj motorcycles to Baggikhana Traffic Police Office for strengthening traffic management in the capital.
The ceremony took place on Tuesday at the Traffic Police Office, Ramshah Path, Baggikhana. The initiative comes as part of Golchha Group’s ongoing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, recognizing the challenges faced by the nation and the vital role of traffic police in maintaining order and safety.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Shekhar Golchha, Chairman and Managing Director of Golchha Group stated, “At this moment, it is not about what is happening in our businesses or in our homes. It is about whether the state itself endures. Without a strong state, no one can feel secure.
For the nation to grow stronger, unity is essential. This period may feel like the pain of childbirth, but I believe this change will ultimately fulfill the aspirations and dreams of the new generation.”
The company operates under the motto “Our Road Safety is Our Responsibility: Golchha Group's partnership with traffic police,” and has consistently provided support during critical times.
Recently, during the Gen-Z protests on September 8 and 9, several buildings and motorcycles belonging to the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Office were damaged, further highlighting the need for strengthened resources.
This initiative demonstrates Golchha Group's continued commitment to supporting public safety and infrastructure in Nepal.
