Global IME Bank Honors 175 Employees on its 19th Anniversary

Global IME Bank Limited has honored 175 employees who completed 15 years of service during a special ceremony held to celebrate the bank's 19th anniversary. 

The event took place in Kathmandu under the leadership of Chandra Prasad Dhakal, who is the Chairman of the bank and the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry. 

During the ceremony, Chairman Dhakal along with board members Radhesh Panta, Ram Bahadur Bhandari, Krishna Prasad Sharma, Madan Lal Joshi, Narayan Prasad Paudel, CEO Surendra Raj Regmi, and Deputy CEO Suman Pokharel jointly presented the employees with ceremonial scarves and appreciation letters.

In his address, Chairman Dhakal emphasized that the bank is focusing on improving service quality and adopting new technology alongside its physical expansion. He highlighted that while Global IME started as the 19th commercial bank in Nepal, it has managed to become a leader in most financial areas within just 19 years. 

He credited this success to the hard work and teamwork of the entire staff and encouraged them to continue their dedication. 

Similarly, CEO Surendra Raj Regmi noted that the bank is committed to providing modern and digital-friendly services, while Deputy CEO Suman Pokharel promised to focus even more on customer satisfaction in the future.

The bank has earned various international and national honors over the years, including the Bank of the Year 2014, Best Bank Nepal for 2024 and 2025, and several Euromoney Awards for Excellence. 

It currently stands as the first private commercial bank to reach all 77 districts of Nepal. With a massive network of 352 branches, 384 ATMs, and over 1,000 total service points, the bank serves a wide customer base. 

Additionally, it contributes significantly to the national economy by managing remittances from many countries including the USA, UK, Australia, and various nations across Asia and the Middle East.
