Gen-Z Youth on Hunger Strike Against Corruption
In Belauri Municipality of Kanchanpur, a Gen-Z youth has started a hunger strike unto death against corruption.
The youth, Keshav Kumar Bohara, began his strike on Tuesday near the statue of peasant leader Martyr Bhimdutta Panta. Bohara stated that his movement, staged at Bhimdutta Chowk, is a protest against overall corruption.
Starting just a month before the House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5, Bohara's hunger strike carries significant political weight.
According to Bohara, he has committed to this strike to demand an end to corruption across all three levels of government in the country.
