Kathmandu: Gen Z Martyrs' Day is being observed today.
The government has declared a public holiday today (Tuesday), Bhadra 23, to mark Gen Z Martyrs' Day.
A Cabinet meeting held on Bhadra 18 decided to give a nationwide public holiday today in memory and honor of the youth who lost their lives during the movement.
The Gen Z movement that took place on Bhadra 23 last year led to political upheaval in the country, and many Gen Z youths lost their lives.
