'Abnormal' Arun, Stressed Simran in 'Gauthali' Poster

Kathmandu. The poster for the movie 'Gauthali' has been released. The production team released two posters of the cinema on Friday.

The two released posters feature the two main characters of the movie. One includes both the actor and actress, while the other features only the actress.

The poster attempts to clarify that the cinema is made on the story of a rural society. In the first poster, actor Arun Chhetri and Simran Khadka are featured. They are in the attire of a bride and groom. He is wearing Daura-Suruwal, a coat, Dhaka topi, and a garland of Cynodon dactylon (Dubo) or the groom's attire.

A catapult is tucked into the waistband (patuka) he has tied. His fingers appear somewhat abnormal in his hand. The position of his hand's fingers and the catapult tucked in the waistband indicate that he has some physical issues.

Enthusiasm is seen on his face. On the other hand, stress is reflected on the face of Simran, who is next to him in bride's attire. The house in the background and the courtyard they are standing in make it clear that they are locals of some village. The small hut thatched with straw indicates that they belong to a poor family.

In the other poster, Simran is alone, in which she is walking while carrying fodder in a conical basket (doko). Barefoot, she is walking while carrying fodder in the basket. However, she is reading. This explains that even after getting married, she is studying while doing household chores.

This poster indicates that she got married despite having an intense desire to study, but she did not deviate from her goal of studying. The mountain seen in the distance indicates that her house is in the high hills. The two released posters show that the movie tells the story of a poor family living in the hills.
