Four Arrested with Illegal Drugs

Kathmandu: Four individuals have been arrested along with illegal drugs in separate incidents.

In Jhapa, two men were arrested on Monday morning from Khatabasti in Jhapa Rural Municipality-5 with 2 grams and 550 milligrams of a substance resembling brown sugar. The arrestees have been identified as 26-year-old Bhupendra Singh Rajbanshi of Jhapa Rural Municipality-2 and 31-year-old Dhiraj Gurung of Birtamode Municipality-4. A police team from the Taghandubba Police Post detained them while they were traveling toward Nepal from India on a motorcycle with registration number Ko.12 Pa 373.

In Kailali, police arrested 19-year-old Dinesh Baduwal of Kattipur, Bardagoriya Rural Municipality-1, on Monday morning. He was caught in Kattipur with 5 grams and 350 milligrams of a substance resembling brown sugar by a team deployed from the Sadakpur Area Police Office.

In Morang, 30-year-old Sunil Kumar Mandal of Rangeli Municipality-7 (Buspark area) was arrested on Monday morning from Bakaraha Bridge in Rangeli Municipality-7. He was found with 620 milligrams of a substance resembling brown sugar during a vehicle check on an electric rickshaw with registration number Pradesh.1.02.004 Ha 6770 traveling from Rangeli to Karsiya, conducted by a team from the Rangeli Area Police Office.

Police are conducting further investigations regarding these cases.
