Former Prime Minister Prachanda Praises Film "Mahabhoj", Urges Youth to Watch It

Kathmandu – Former Prime Minister and Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', has shared his heartfelt review of the Nepali film Mahabhoj after watching it in a cinema hall today.
In a Facebook post, Dahal expressed that watching a film after a long time turned out to be a meaningful experience. He described Mahabhoj as “highly engaging, factual, realistic, and message-driven.” According to him, the film reflects that although feudalism was uprooted through sacrifice and revolution, its remnants still linger in society.
“The film delivers a powerful message that brave warriors fighting for social transformation, with a firm belief that 'something must and can be done in this country', continue their struggle against feudalism — and they will inevitably bring change,” he wrote.
He extended his deep thanks to all actors, producers, the director, and the entire production team for vividly conveying this important message through compelling performances.
Prachanda also appealed to today’s generation to watch Mahabhoj at least once to understand its deeper meaning and social relevance.
