Former President Bidhya Devi Bhandari to Obtain Citizenship Duplicate Today
Kathmandu. Former President Bidhya Devi Bhandari is scheduled to visit the District Administration Office, Kathmandu today (Tuesday) to obtain a duplicate copy of her citizenship certificate.
Her citizenship certificate and other important documents were reportedly destroyed by fire when protestors set her house ablaze on Bhadra 24 during the Gen-Z movement.
She is set to visit the District Administration Office to collect the duplicate copy of her citizenship at 2 PM this afternoon. According to the Chief District Officer of Kathmandu, Ishwor Raj Poudel, Bhandari is going there to receive the citizenship after submitting an application for its duplicate copy.
