Former PM Deuba Claims AI Used to Create Fake Video to Defame Him
Kathmandu. October, 14 – Former Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has stated that Artificial Intelligence (AI) was used to create a fake video intended to defame him.
He claims that fake videos were created using AI to suggest that a large amount of burnt cash was found at his residence after the incident on September 9.
In today's Central Committee meeting, he demanded a strict investigation and action against those spreading such misleading news and trying to blame him.
His private secretariat had previously issued a statement clarifying that the rumors being spread on social media about a large sum of money being found, burnt notes scattered, or a 'money tunnel' existing at the Deuba residence in Budhanilkantha are completely false.
The secretariat had mentioned that old footage and pictures of burnt notes from various places were combined to create fake content in an attempt to malign Deuba.
