Filming of ‘Shivansh: Chapter–1’ Completed, Post-Production to Begin Soon

Kathmandu – The filming of the Nepali movie ‘Shivansh: Chapter–1’ has officially been completed. The shoot began in the first week of Jestha (mid-May) with a worship ceremony at Akala Temple in Lamachaur, Pokhara, and concluded on the 36th day of production.

According to producer Anjan KC, the entire film—including scenes and songs—was shot in and around Pokhara. The final shoot took place in Pame, Pokhara, featuring a song titled ‘Ukus Mukus’. He shared, “We successfully completed the shoot without any obstacles, working tirelessly day and night. Now, we will accelerate the post-production process.”

The film is presented under the banner of Anjan Cinema Production House and directed by Santosh Kumar Atreya, marking his directorial debut. Lead roles are played by Praveen Khatiwada, Tej Giri, and Rusha Neupane, with supporting performances by Bikash Joshi, Bimala Limbu, Pradeep Kumar Chaudhary, Sabir Churaute, Uday Kumar Subba, and Tika Niroula, among others.

The story of the film is written by producer Anjan KC himself, with screenplay by Barat Limbu and script doctoring by Sulakshan Bharti. Co-producers are Shobha Bhandari and Anis KC Bogati, while Shambhu Thapa is the executive producer.

Cinematography is handled by Sharad Mahato. Lyrics are penned by Biplav Pratik and Rajanraj Shiwakoti, with music composed by Nhyoo Bajracharya and Shiwakoti. Vocals are provided by Rajanraj Shiwakoti, Milan Newar, and Samikshya Adhikari.

The film features action direction by Milan Shrestha and choreography by Bikram Chouhan. VFX direction and supervision are by Biraj Khadka, with Aadesh Subba (Goodrez Pictures) as the VFX producer.

Barat Limbu serves as the chief assistant director, Pratik Chaudhary is the art director and production designer, Milan Manandhar is the production manager, Kamal Mishra is in charge of costumes, Tulsa Limbu handles makeup, and Yuwahang Rai is responsible for poster photography.

Post-production will be carried out by Chalachitra Chautari, while distribution will be handled by Digital Cinema Nepal (DCN).
