Filming of ‘Maijaro’ Reaches Final Stage

Kathmandu — The filming of the movie Maijaro, which began in the first week of Shrawan in Illam, has now reached its final stage. Directed by Wilson Bikram Rai, the film aims to highlight the natural beauty of the eastern hills and the warmth of human relationships.
The shooting has taken place in scenic locations such as Deumai Municipality, Panitar, Jitpur, and Sakhejung in Illam, extending to picturesque sites in Panchthar. According to director Rai, audiences can expect a fresh taste and unique experience from the film. The story and screenplay have also been written by Rai himself.
Based on an original love story, the film features actors Dhiraj Magar, Miruna Magar, Diya Pun, Buddhi Tamang, Sunil Thapa, Pushkar Gurung, Abhay Raj Baral, Maotse Gurung, Kavita Ale, Rajani Gurung, Prem Subba, Uday Subba, Anil Subba, Bhupendra Lingden, and Bishal Limbu, among others.
Produced under the banner of Takme Production, the film’s music is composed by Anmol Gurung and Torempa Hang Rai, with vocals by Rajesh Payal Rai, Jhuma Limbu, Melina Rai, and Asmita Adhikari, among others. Cinematography is by Saurabh Lama, distribution will be handled by RR Films, and OSR has acquired the digital rights.
