Ek Mutthi Badal Unveils Official Key Art Ahead of May 15 Release

Kathmandu. The makers of Ek Mutthi Badal: My Share of Sky have unveiled the film’s official key art, presenting a family gathered inside a home at a moment that feels both warm and quietly tense.

At the center sits Aanchal Sharma, composed and still, with her family arranged around her. The room is filled with people who appear prepared, dressed as if they are about to receive guests. The space feels familiar, like a Nepali home just before visitors arrive, when everyone has taken their place and conversations have settled into a careful balance.

In the background, Sahayog Adhikari and Gaurav Bista stand watchfully, adding another layer to the scene. Ashmita Gautam is positioned behind a desk, present yet slightly removed. Veteran actors Nisha Sharma and Shekhar Chapagain carry the presence of the older generation, while Bhima Mainali, Usha Rajak, and Manish Niraula, along with Abiral Pratap Adhikari, complete a family that feels connected, but there are unspoken dynamics layered within.

The poster captures a moment before interruption. This is exactly when guests arrive in such a home, they do not simply enter a space. They enter into ongoing conversations, silences, and relationships that have been building over time.

Directed by Sahara Sharma, Ek Mutthi Badal is produced by Abhimanyu Dixit, with producers Sara Fazilat, Samipya Raj Timalsena, and Anup Poudel, and executive producer Nikun Shrestha.

The film features cinematography by Linh Dan Nguyen Phan, production design by Yashasvi Sabharwal, editing by Gourab Kumar Mullick, with editing consultant Deepa Bhatia. Costume design is by Janaki Kadayat, makeup by Kirti Joshi, art direction by Agrani Thakuri Jha, and post-production supervision by Ashma Gautam.

Ek Mutthi Badal is a Nepal–Germany co-production between Gauthali Entertainment, Mana Production, Third Culture Kids, and Chromosom Film, and will release in theatres across Nepal on May 15 (Jestha 1), distributed by RR Films.
