Earthquake in Sankhuwasabha
Kathmandu, November 28: An earthquake has occurred with its epicenter in the Kimathanka area of Sankhuwasabha district's northern region.
According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Centre, Lainchaur, the earthquake measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale occurred at 7:32 AM today, with its epicenter around Kimathanka in Sankhuwasabha district.
The District Administration Office, Sankhuwasabha, stated that inquiries are underway regarding any damage caused by the earthquake, and no confirmed information has been received so far.
Previously, on November 22, an earthquake of magnitude 3.9 on the Richter scale had occurred with its epicenter around Hemantwada in Bajhang. Since Nepal is a Himalayan region, small and large earthquakes occur at various times.
