Social activist Durga Prasai has stated that he would welcome a formal call for negotiations from the government. He made this assertion publicly, indicating a conditional openness to dialogue with the current administration.

In his social media post, Prasai made it clear that while he sees the government's willingness to call for talks as a step in the right direction—a show of responsibility that he claims the previous KP Oli administration never demonstrated—mere invitation is not enough.

His core message emphasizes the need for a definitive, outcome-oriented resolution:

"It's not enough to just call for negotiations—the country now demands a solution with a result that will save the nation and its citizens."

Prasai is the coordinator of the 'Campaign to Save the Nation, Nationality, Religion, Culture, and Citizens.' His campaign's demands typically include the restoration of the monarchy and a Hindu state, as well as relief measures like loan forgiveness for individuals victimized by banks and microfinance institutions.
