Bollywood Actor Dipraj Rana to Star in Nepali Film "Sukha Dukha"

Kathmandu — Bollywood actor Dipraj Rana, who established himself as a supporting actor in the 2002 Indian film Saathiya, is set to appear in the Nepali film Sukha Dukha. He has been signed for the film by the team of actress and producer Neeta Dhungana Adhikari.
Dipraj, who has acted in films such as Singham Returns, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, Dabangg 3, and more recently Metro… In Dino, Billi Ustaad, and Sitare Zameen Par, had also appeared in the Nepali film Kohinoor. After a long gap since working in the late Shree Krishna Shrestha’s Kohinoor, he is returning to the Nepali film industry.
According to him, he was eager to work in Sukha Dukha because he liked the story, which is being directed by Neeta herself. The production team said that Dipraj was emotionally moved after hearing the story. However, they have not yet revealed details about his role.
The filming is scheduled to start this coming Fagun (February–March). Recently, the production team also signed Bipana Thapa for the project. Neeta and Bipana previously worked together in the film Hrwasdirgh, making this their second collaboration.
In addition to Dipraj and Bipana, Mithila Sharma and Madan Krishna Shrestha have also been signed for the film. The rest of the cast has not yet been disclosed by the production team.
For cinematography, renowned Indian cinematographers Kabir Lal and Shahid Lal have been brought on board. Produced under the Neeta Films banner, the film is set to release next year on Phulpati, during the Dashain festival.
For distribution, FD Company has acquired the rights for regions outside the Kathmandu Valley, while Rich Entertainment will handle distribution within the Valley.
