Journalist Dinesh Sitaula Passes Away Following Balen Shah's Election Campaign
Kathmandu. Journalist Dinesh Sitaula has passed away prematurely. He died on Sunday after suffering a brain hemorrhage. Sitaula had reached Achham as part of a team during the election campaign of senior leader Balen Shah of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
After suddenly fainting and collapsing while in Achham, he was brought to Kathmandu on Friday. He was being treated on a ventilator at Grande Hospital, where doctors declared him dead today.
Preparations are underway for his cremation at Pashupati Aryaghat today. Sitaula, a former president of the Film Journalists Association, had worked on the promotion of hundreds of Nepali films.
