Sushant Dhakal’s Bold New Look in ‘Dhoka’ Sparks Conversation Online

Kathmandu: The music video for the song "Dhoka," featuring the vocals of singer Pratap Das, has begun to generate buzz following its release. Starring Sushant Dhakal and Smarika Dhakal, the song portrays themes of betrayal in love and the subsequent pursuit of revenge. 

The video showcases powerful performances by both models, with Sushant appearing in a villainous role and looking noticeably heavier. Sushant, who is typically known for being slim and fit, stated that he gained weight specifically for this project.

Director Keshav Raj Bhatta explained that Smarika is featured in a double role to make the story of love, betrayal, and revenge more intriguing. Bhatta appears to have put significantly more effort into this project compared to his previous works. 

Model Sushant has already acted in over four dozen music videos, including "Nidharaima Tiki," "Dilmaya," "Timro Maya," and "Ek Choti Ta Bolideu." Known for being selective about his roles, Sushant is currently very excited after working on the Bollywood song "Tujhme Khoya Tujhme Paya."

Sushant also acted in a song by Bollywood singer Sonu Mishra, which had its video premiere in Nepal. The lyrics for "Dhoka" were written by Bishnu Bhandari, while the music was composed by the popular Saroj Pokharel. 

Arranged, mixed, and mastered by Dibesh Rai, the video features choreography by Dinesh Parajuli. The video was released through the official YouTube channel of composer Saroj Pokharel.
