Citizen Assistance Desk Inaugurated at Gongabu New Bus Park, Kathmandu
Kathmandu – A citizen assistance desk has been inaugurated today at the new bus park in Kathmandu, aimed at providing services during the festival season.
The inauguration ceremony was organized by the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Office, and the desk was officially opened by Chief of Kathmandu Valley Police Office, Dan Bahadur Karki.
According to Teknath Gautam, General Secretary of the Nepal National Transport Entrepreneurs’ Federation, citizen assistance desks have been set up at 15 locations across the valley, including the new bus park.
He stated, “From today, citizen assistance desks are also operational in various locations such as Chabahil, Gaushala, Balkhu, Kalanki, and Banepa.”
This initiative is expected to provide easier access to services for travelers and vehicle operators and to make traffic management more effective during the festival season.
