'Citamol' to Hit Theaters This Friday, Advance Ticket Booking Open

The Nepali film Citamol, which is set to release nationwide on Friday, August 8 (Shrawan 23), has opened advance ticket booking. While most multiplex theaters across the country have already opened advance bookings, some are in the process of doing so. The film has received a good number of shows through advance booking.
Given the hype created among audiences through its promotional materials, Citamol has been allotted favorable showtimes in both multiplexes and single-screen cinemas. The production team believes that if audience pressure continues during advance booking, the number of shows will gradually increase. Nepal’s largest multiplex chain, QFX, has given the film 15 shows in the Kathmandu Valley and 16 in other cities, totaling 31 shows across its network.
Meanwhile, the country’s second-largest multiplex chain, INI Cinemas, has provided 11 shows across its 4 outlets. Big Movies has given 2 shows, Fcube Cinemas 3 shows, BSR Movies 2 shows, One Cinemas 6 shows, Cine de Chef 3 shows, and Kirtipur Cineplex 2 shows. Since ticket booking is in progress at several other theaters across cities, including Ranjana, Bishwajyoti, and CK Cinemas in Kathmandu and various outlying areas, the production team expects Citamol to open on Friday with over 150 shows.
The film is expected to have a strong start at the box office, judging by the positive response it has received to its posters, songs, teaser, and trailer.
Directed by Raj Bahadur Saney, the film stars Saugat Malla, Benisha Hamal, Shree Krishna Niraula, Januka Bishwakarma, Lokendra Lekhak, Bhugol Karki, Hiuwala Gautam, Sushil Pokharel, Dinesh Regmi, RR Khadka, Gyanu Malla, Pawan Bhattarai, Kajal Bhujel, and child actors Karan Nepali and Aaradhya Rajyalaxmi DC.
