‘Kaku’ and ‘Jigri’s’ ‘Chiranjeevi Bhava’ Auspicious Start, Releasing on Magh 1

Kathmandu. The auspicious start (Shubha-Muhurat) of the film ‘Chiranjeevi Bhava’ has been completed. The production team held the script puja today to officially kick off the project.

The ceremony took place at the Bangalamukhi Temple in Lalitpur with the director and lead actors in attendance. Veteran actor Haribansh Acharya gave the first shot of the film during the ceremony. His opening shot clarifies the reasoning behind the film’s title.

Along with Haribansh, actors Aashirwad Chhetri, Prashansha Rayamajhi, and others were present at the event.

Presented by Jigri Entertainment and Premier Production, the film will go on floors starting Jestha 15. The shooting schedule is set for 45 days, with filming taking place in Dhankuta, Sunsari, and Kathmandu. The movie is scheduled to be released on Magh 1.

Deepak Prasad Acharya ‘Kaku’, the director of last year's blockbuster movie ‘Paran’, is directing ‘Chiranjeevi Bhava’. ‘Paran’ was the highest-grossing Nepali film of last year.

The blockbuster director is now working on ‘Chiranjeevi Bhava’ alongside Kumar Kattel ‘Jigri Bro’. Deepak is producing the film based on a story by Kumar.

In addition to Haribansh, the film features Priyanka Karki, Subarna Thapa, Aashirwad Chhetri, Kamalmani Nepal, Saroj Aryal, model and influencer Prashansha Rayamajhi, Haris Niraula (Cockroach), Suman Karki, and Sushmita Kunwar in lead roles.

While the story was prepared by Kumar Kattel, the scriptwriting is handled by Sabin Adhikari and Basanta Neupane.

According to the production side, ‘Chiranjeevi Bhava’ is a social drama that focuses on the ideological differences and relationship dynamics between two generations.
