Chhath Festival: A Wonderful Example of the Relationship Between Nature and Humankind - Energy Minister Kulman Ghising

Energy Minister Kulman Ghising has extended heartfelt best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasion of the Chhath festival. Issuing a congratulatory message through social media (Facebook), he described the Chhath festival as a "festival of labour, purity, dedication, and coexistence."

Ghising stated that the festival is a "wonderful example of the relationship between nature and humankind," noting that this sacred celebration, which involves the worship of nature, the Sun God (Surya Dev), and water, is especially honoured as an "embodiment of the determination and sacrifice of women."

He also emphasised that unity in diversity is a distinct identity of Nepali society and urged everyone to celebrate the festival with joy and goodwill. Concluding his message, he wished for prosperity and the light of happiness to spread in everyone's homes.
