Chaiti Chhath Festival Celebrated with Grandeur in Golbazar

Siraha. Chaiti Chhath festival has been celebrated with great fanfare in Golbazar, Siraha. Significant participation of local devotees was observed in this great festival, which is celebrated with faith, devotion, and enthusiasm.

From early morning, devotees gathered at various ponds and riverbanks in Golbazar to offer prayers to the setting and rising sun.

While the fasting women, dressed in traditional attire, completed the rituals systematically, men and youth played an active role in management. Cleaning, decoration, and security arrangements were well-coordinated at the prayer sites. It is reported that the program was completed in an organized and peaceful manner through the cooperation of the local administration, security personnel, and various organizations.

Chaiti Chhath is a festival specifically dedicated to the worship of the Sun God, seeking happiness, peace, prosperity, and good health for the family.
