Blood Donation for Bhotekoshi Disaster Victims: Over 60 Pints of Blood Collected

Inaruwa. A blood donation program was organized by the Madhesh Youth Club for those injured and receiving treatment following the disaster in the Bhotekoshi region.

According to Uttam Karki, an official from the organizing institution, more than 60 pints of blood were collected during the program. He stated that the event was organized as part of their social responsibility to ensure there is no shortage of blood needed for the injured and sick during disasters.

Youths and individuals from various sectors enthusiastically donated blood at the event. Organized under the spirit of "Blood donation is life donation," the program received technical support from the Nepal Red Cross Society.

According to organizer Karki, the program aimed to increase youth participation in humanitarian service during crises and to ensure blood is easily available to patients whenever needed.
