Binita Khanal’s New Teej Song ‘Dar Banaira Chhin Aama’ Released

Kathmandu – A new Teej song titled ‘Dar Banaira Chhin Aama’ has been released on the occasion of the grand Hindu women’s festival, Haritalika Teej.

The song, released on the official YouTube channel of NepMelo, beautifully blends musical and cultural flavors. The lyrics are penned by Binita Khanal, while the music arrangement is by renowned musician Tara Prakash Limbu. Popular singers Melina Rai and Anu Chaudhary have lent their voices to the song.

The music video features models Ashma Bishwakarma and Alisha Sharma. The video portrays them joyfully dancing and remembering the moments when mothers prepare the traditional ‘Dar’ (a type of traditional feast) to celebrate Teej.

The video is conceptualized and directed by Shan Thapa, with choreography by Rajiv Summer and cinematography by Arjun Tiwari.

Binita Khanal, the lyricist, has previously released several folk-based songs including the popular album ‘Padmabini,’ which gained wide appreciation from audiences.

According to the production team, this song is expected to add more enthusiasm, joy, and cultural vibrancy to this year’s Teej celebrations.
