After All-Time Blockbuster, Bijay Baral’s ‘Janaai Haraayeko Manche’ Releasing on Bhadra 6

Kathmandu – The Nepali film Janaai Haraayeko Manche: Sambandhaka Dhaga Haru is set to release on Bhadra 6. Featuring a strong lineup, the film stars Bijay Baral in the lead role.
Bijay is the same actor who played the main role in the blockbuster Purna Bahadur ko Sarangi. In that film, he portrayed the character of Purna Bahadur Gandharva, a performance that earned widespread praise.
Purna Bahadur ko Sarangi remains the highest-grossing Nepali film to date, earning around 800 million rupees both domestically and internationally. Following this historic success, Bijay Baral returns in Janaai Haraayeko Manche: Sambandhaka Dhaga Haru, releasing on Bhadra 6.
This is Baral’s first lead role since Purna Bahadur ko Sarangi, and there is much curiosity among audiences about whether his popularity from the previous film will carry over to this one.
According to director Himal Neupane, the film tells an emotional story about family members, set in a rural context, which he is confident will resonate with audiences.
Baral also believes viewers will connect with this film just as they did with Purna Bahadur ko Sarangi, as it similarly revolves around village life, poverty, and emotional family relationships.
Directed by Himal Neupane, the film’s associate director is Prem Geet 3 actor Manish Raut, who previously played a lead role in that movie and is now stepping into filmmaking.
Alongside Vijay Baral, the cast includes Miruna Magar, Keki Adhikari, Sushank Mainali, Gaurav Pahari, Bhola Raj Sapkota, Rear Rai, Tara Sharma, Bhawana Khapangi Magar, Rupesh Lama,and Suman Thapa.
Produced under the Paperclip banner by Kamal Neupane and Bimal Neupane, the film’s executive producers are Narayan Timilsina, Chudamani Siwakoti, R.K. Manandhar, C.R. Basnet, Philip D.C, and James Maharajan.
The music is by Thaneshwar Gautam, Arjun Pokhrel, S.D. Yogi, and Prashant Siwakoti. Nabin Gurung serves as the DOP, with cinematography by Krishna Pariyar.
The story, screenplay, and dialogues are written by Bhanubhakta Dhakal. The chief assistant director is Dinesh Bahadur Raut, with Tarkaraj Neupane, Rabindra Nepal, Monika Thapa, and Aakash K.C. as assistant directors. The production controller is Laxman Raj Paudel.
The film will be distributed by Gobinda Shahi’s Kafiya Films.
This marks Vijay Baral’s first lead role release of the year following his all-time blockbuster Purna Bahadur ko Sarangi.
