"Bho Yo Maya" — A Heartfelt Blend of Modernity and Tradition in Nepali Music

Kathmandu — A new original song, “Bho Yo Maya,” encapsulating an emotional love story in the Nepali modern music scene, has been released. The lyrics and composition are by Samip Acharya, while the vocals are performed by singer Narayan Subedi ‘Abhas.’ Their collaboration has given the song a deep emotional touch and a heartwarming feel. Through this creation, Acharya has beautifully blended modernity with tradition, offering listeners a refreshing experience.

The song is arranged by Uday Raj Paudel, with mixing and mastering handled by Kishor Thapa. Recorded at M-Beat Studio, the recording engineer was Monish Chamling. The track features an excellent fusion of traditional Nepali instruments — with a special performance on the sarangi by Hemant Rasaili and flute by Ratna BK.

The music video, released alongside the song, was shot by Karn Bahadur Khadka, edited by Sundar Kshetri, and directed by Mina Budhathoki ‘Sabitri.’ Actors Kiran Tamang and Lalita Thapa star in the video, portraying a moving tale of love and pain. Strong performances, captivating cinematography, and heartfelt editing have elevated the video’s quality to a higher level.

The production team expressed confidence that “Bho Yo Maya” will become a must-listen creation for music lovers.
