Bhatbhateni Becomes the Highest Taxpayer Despite the Challenges of Arson and Vandalism
Kathmandu – Bhatbhateni Super Market, which was heavily targeted by arson and vandalism during the Gen-Z unrest, has become the country's highest tax-paying institution for the fiscal year 2081/82. Bhatbhateni secured the top spot on the list of the largest taxpayers in the commodity trading sector.
After being honored as the best taxpayer, Bhatbhateni's operator, Min Bahadur Gurung, stated that he was undeterred despite the repeated criminal incidents of looting and arson that occurred at Bhatbhateni.
He said, "We have advanced the business despite difficult circumstances, and our commitment to contributing to the country's development remains firm."
Bhatbhateni has been providing services to consumers through its various branches across the country and has played a significant role in the national economy through its tax contribution.
