Thief who robbed Balen's house arrested: Fugitive from Nakkhu Prison identified as mastermind

Three people have been arrested for stealing from the house of Balendra Shah, a senior leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party.

A team from the District Police Range, Kathmandu, apprehended the three individuals.

SP and spokesperson of the Range, Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, confirmed the arrests. "We have arrested three people. Some items have also been recovered from them," SP Bhattarai told Onlinekhabar.

Laptops, chargers, and video recorders were recovered from those arrested. Police stated that the mastermind behind the theft is an individual who had escaped from Nakkhu Prison on September 9 during the Gen-Z movement.

The police have not disclosed further details, stating that the investigation is ongoing.
