Official Release Date Announced for Movie 'Ba: Ek Yoddha'

Kathmandu. The official release date for the movie 'Ba: Ek Yoddha' has been announced. According to the production team, the film is set to be released simultaneously in theaters across the country starting this coming Bhadra 19.

Directed by Hari Lamsal, the production team informed that based on mutual agreements and contracts with distributors, the film is being brought to theaters nationwide on the eve of Kushe Aunsi, also known as Father's Day.

Famous composer Hari Lamsal, who has given dozens of timeless songs to the Nepali music industry, is making his directorial debut with this film.

Produced under the banner of Artistic Entertainment, the story and screenplay of this movie were prepared by Lamsal himself, who is already established in music and singing.

There is significant curiosity and interest regarding how Lamsal, who has built a distinct identity in music, will perform in his directorial role.

The producer of 'Ba: Ek Yoddha' is Basanta Lamsal. Lamsal, who is also a singer and creator, previously produced the movie 'Karma' starring actor Bipin Karki.

This movie aims to highlight a poignant aspect of Nepali society. Since the start of filming on Chaitra 9, the production team has maintained suspense regarding the names of the actors.

A few days ago, information was released from the filming set that actress Jharana Thapa, her daughter Suhana Thapa, and actor Divya Dev Pant are in the lead roles.

Jharana and Suhana are acting together on screen for the first time. Real-life mother and daughter, they will also appear as mother and daughter in the movie.

The title of the film indicates it will be a pure social story. It is understood that the film seeks to portray the importance of a father in a Nepali family, the sacrifices and struggles he makes for his children's future, and the challenges he faces throughout his life as a 'warrior.' Specifically, the film will depict the story of the responsibilities a father carries on his shoulders in both rural and urban societies.

The cinematography for this movie is by Shiva Ram Shrestha. Shrestha has already demonstrated his skills by filming blockbuster and highly discussed movies such as 'Purna Bahadur Ko Sarangi,' 'Boksi Ko Ghar,' and 'Paran.'

'Ba: Ek Yoddha' is expected to be visually excellent. Tara Nath Neupane is the chief assistant director of the film.
