One Arrested with Brown Sugar (Heroin)

Kathmandu — One person has been arrested with the illicit drug brown sugar (heroin).
Tej Bhattarai, a 33-year-old resident of Malakheti, Godawari Municipality–3, Kailali, was arrested by police on Thursday morning in possession of 260 milligrams of a substance that appears to be brown sugar.
A police team deployed from the Malakheti Area Police Office recovered the substance while searching his house and subsequently took him into custody.
Police are conducting further investigations into the matter.
