Advocate Swagat Nepal Claims Current Constitution is Gen Z-Unfriendly and Calls for a Movement

Kathmandu. Independent Royalist advocate Swagat Nepal has stated that the current constitution is Gen Z-unfriendly. Speaking at a press conference on Friday, he claimed the current constitution is anti-Gen Z, citing that it prevents Gen Z from contesting elections and denies them representation in bodies like the National Assembly and constitutional commissions.

He further alleged that the present constitution works to collectively exploit Nepali citizens. He stated, "The current constitution is a Gen Z-unfriendly constitution. It is a constitution written with the aim that Gen Z should not be allowed to become parliamentarians.

The National Assembly election is about to happen. It is written that not a single Gen Z individual can contest that National Assembly election. Should such a constitution be burned or not? Should such a constitution be torn up or not?"

He recalled that 83 Maoists were brought into the parliament in 2063 BS without an election, and he now asserts that 80 percent of Gen Z youth should gain ownership.

He said, "Just as we directly brought Maoists from the jungle to become parliamentarians in 2063 BS, we want to make 80 percent of Gen Z parliamentarians. There will be no election. 83 Maoist parliamentarians did not come through an election.

Congress and UML also added parliamentarians at that time. Should we teach Gen Z? How should ownership be established, through election or through movement? Through movement, not through any election."

He also emphasized the necessity for those who wish to restore the monarchy to unite. Furthermore, he mentioned that several leaders from the Nepali Congress, UML, and Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) are now saying that a monarchy is necessary.

He stated, "Honorable members of the Congress, UML, and RSP are now starting to unite, saying that a monarchy is necessary. I have met many honorable members last week as well. Efforts are being made to bring them to one place.

They are indeed uniting. The real Nepali Congress has always been royalist because BP Koirala used to say that if there is no king, there will be no country. That real Nepali Congress means Dr. Sunil Sharma, Shankar Bhandari."
