Acrow bridge constructed in Nuwakot’s Devighat in 5 days

KATHMANDU: The installation of an Acrow bridge, initiated five days ago by the Nepali Army to facilitate transportation in the Devighat area of Nuwakot, has been completed.

Movement had been disrupted for the public after a devastating flood in Rasuwa’s Bhotekoshi River washed away the concrete bridge. A team from the army worked continuously to complete the bridge installation.

With the installation of the new bridge, pedestrian access will open tomorrow, and vehicles will begin operating the day after.

Earlier, transport connectivity to Nuwakot and surrounding areas was completely severed after the concrete bridge was swept away by the Bhotekoshi flood.

The swift installation of the bridge by the army has brought significant relief to locals, business owners, and commuters.
