West Indies Defeats Zimbabwe by 107 Runs in T20 World Cup Super 8

Kathmandu. Zimbabwe has been defeated by West Indies by 107 runs in the Super-8 match of the ICC T20 World Cup cricket. In the match held yesterday evening at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, India, Zimbabwe, chasing the target of 255 runs set by West Indies, scored 147 runs in 17.4 overs.

Brad Evans of Zimbabwe scored 43 runs, while Gudakesh Motie of West Indies took 4 wickets. Earlier, batting after losing the toss, West Indies scored 254 runs losing 6 wickets in 20 overs.

Shimron Hetmyer of West Indies scored 85 runs. Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani of Zimbabwe took 2 wickets each. This is the second-highest total in the T20 World Cup. With this win, West Indies has reached the top position in Group 1 of the Super-8.
